Van Buren Theatre

The Van Buren Theatre program offers a multitude of opportunities for students to learn about theatre. The theatre department performs a k-12 district production each year, as well as several high school productions. Our mission is to provide a well rounded theatrical education to all students in the Van Buren School District. Van Buren is an active participant in the Arkansas Jr and Sr Thespian Honor Society, where several of our students hold superior rankings in areas such as: One - Act play, solo musical/ acting, and multiple technical events. In addition to this, the Van Buren Theatre Program also holds the high honor of having performed at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh Scotland. Overall, the Van Buren Theatre Program equips any student interested with the knowledge and experience needed to succeed in any theatrical pathway they may choose.
